Sign-in and preferences

Cookies prefixed aidancegenerator-site-auth (sometimes with a __Secure- prefix) support login sessions and OAuth state. Session cookies expire according to the authentication service; signing out clears the active session. Temporary OAuth cookies support the return from Google sign-in.

Browser storage can remember the selected theme, language, sidebar state and pending-task recovery information. Interface preferences persist until changed or cleared. Task-recovery entries help reconnect to an accepted generation; clearing them does not cancel that task.

First-party attribution and service events

The sf_visitor_id first-party cookie uses a random visitor ID and a maximum lifetime of 180 days. It connects the landing page, referral/campaign information and later sign-in or purchase for first-party attribution. When you sign in, the visitor record may be associated with your account.

First-party events record whether actions such as sign-in, checkout and generation succeed, together with relevant page/build and task context. They support reliability and product measurement. They are not anonymous when linked to an account.

Third-party analytics

Google Analytics, Plausible and Microsoft Clarity session recording are not enabled for the initial production release. No optional analytics-consent control is advertised as active. If optional measurement is introduced, this notice and applicable choice controls must be updated before it starts.

Your choices

Use browser settings to inspect, block or clear cookies and local storage. Blocking authentication storage can prevent sign-in or interrupt its callback. Clearing browser storage does not delete server-side account, task, order or media records.
